wondering if anyone has one of these units yet

a couple of good features, variable speed built-in, nice looking height adjustment, 6 amps and it's on sale at the big orange borg for just $99us ($119 Can stores) This may be a good value here.

Actually, if you check out the OLF tool shed and search on amazon for it, it's only $78.24Rod True38934.8180555556

I've got one. I like it a lot, except for: depth adjustment is hit-or-miss (but I've been able to work around it so far), and I really wish I could figure out how to rig up dust collection.

Good stuff: As Todd mentioned, soft start & VS; base remains square to bit; electronic speed sensor; both a fence and roller guide included; hard case; lifetime warranty (even includes brushes!)

I'm also likin' the looks of Ridgid's new 2 1/2 HP, dual-base router.

It's got RIDGID on it and it might get a few bolts break in their threads like my former bandsaw had! Serge Poirier38934.9027199074

Yeah, i must admit that their lifetime warranty is the best there is to keep Fed ex occupied!

I've had this trimmer for a while, and I like everything about it except the depth adjustment - VERY awkward, but like Carlton stated, you can work around that.
